We were honored when Kate Spade asked us to partner with them to improve Abahizi Rwanda, an employee-owned handbag factory in Masoro, Rwanda. This meaningful project allows us to share our expertise in lean manufacturing, craftsmanship, and technical information. We invited the Abahizi Rwanda teams to work hand in hand with our technicians and management staff. We donated machines and knowledge for them to become a self-sustaining and profitable factory. We were able to share our knowledge to help create a thriving factory which in turn empowered their female artisans and elevated their community.
